Rev. Sahara Chea asks prayers for Veasna Tuon, husband of Bong Sothara, who is a member of the National Cambodian Presbyterian Council. They live in Lowell, Massachutsetts. Veasna Tuon is in critical condition in ICU at Saints Memorial Hospital with an undiagnosed condition.
Rev. Lynn Longfield's mother Lois needs prayer for bleeding problems behind the eye, and potential laser surgery for that in October.
Susie Zych's nephew Rob needs continued prayer for his severe cardio-pulmonary problems. He is still in critical condition.
Rev. Jett Brooks is still recovering from a severe infection.
Henrietta Senecal, wife of Rev. Harvey Senecal, is having some continued problems with recovery from her jaw surgery.
Rev. Ming Ok continues to need prayer for healing and strength. He is still hospitalized at Virginia Mason in Seattle. His wife Judy also needs prayer for this difficult time.
Prayers for Rev. Terry Jones in Gainesville to turn away from his plan to burn the Qur'an on Saturday. Religious leaders across the spectrum have spoken against the proposed burning. Prayers also for Rev. Rev. Dan Johnson at the neighboring Trinity United Methodist Church, which will be holding a counter-protest on Friday night.
Convoy of Hope will be in Grays Harbor County September 18.
